About

I’m a strategic communications professional with nearly ten years of experience in higher education and nonprofits.

I currently serve Overbrook School for the Blind as Public Relations and Marketing Specialist. In my role, I develop and implement campaigns to support the Development and Communications team in securing gifts for the school, which are used to improve OSB’s ability to ensure its students can lead active and fulfilling lives.

I previously worked with a nonprofit economic development firm in Richmond, Virginia, where I supported media relations efforts that increased corporate executives’ perception of the region as an ideal business location from 2 percent to 30 percent in three years. I also worked to create and execute marketing campaigns which helped secure around 30 major company attraction and expansion projects from companies like The LEGO Group, generating more than 6,850 jobs and $3 billion for needed community services.

I’m currently Chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) committee and Co-Chair of the Communications committee for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Philadelphia Chapter. In 2024, the PRSA Richmond chapter recognized me with the Rising Star award for my early commitment to and accomplishments in PR.

I hold an integrated marketing communications bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (Class of ’19) and a strategic communications master’s degree from Rowan University (’21).

A Virginia native, I now reside in Philadelphia’s Fairmount neighborhood with my partner and our two cats.
