About

I’m a strategic communications professional with a passion for community development.

I aim to use my marketing and communications skills to improve communities and the lives of their residents by spurring economic activity and opportunity. So far in my nearly 10-year career, I have supported a nationwide and nationally funded research project, a top 20 U.S. economic development firm and two higher education institutions.

I helped drive the economy in Greater Richmond, Virginia, by developing and implementing media relations strategies that helped raise the perception of the region as an ideal business location from 2 percent to nearly 30 percent among corporate executives. I also assisted in marketing campaigns that converted interest to action. My leadership and expertise helped to secure around 30 company attraction and expansion projects from global companies like the LEGO Group which generated more than 6,850 jobs and $3 billion for needed community services.

I currently serve as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Chair for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Philadelphia Chapter Board of Directors and have held various additional volunteer roles in the past. In 2024, the PRSA Richmond Chapter recognized me with the Rising Star award for my early commitment to and accomplishments in public relations. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in integrated marketing communications (Class of ’19) and a master’s degree from Rowan University in strategic communications (’21).

A northern Virginia native and longtime Richmond, Virginia, resident, I now reside in Philadelphia with my partner and our cats, Donatella and Maya.
